The next webinar in the Accessible Technology Webinar Series, Accessibility
in Procurement, is Thursday, December 15th at 3:00pm.

Terrill Thompson of UW-IT Accessible Technology Services and Lynn Magill of
Procurement Services will explore strategies for addressing IT
accessibility as part of the procurement process. The session will include
instructions on how to read a Voluntary Product Accessibility Template
(VPAT), a standard form that vendors often use to document the state of
their products’ accessibility, and will include a live analysis of several
example VPATs. Please forward this announcement to people in your
department who are responsible for making IT procurement decisions.
