I think this means that the displayed URL is not exatly the same as the
URL it goes to when clicking on the link.
For example, the text may be:
«as you know, *grey cows* grace preferably on green pastures»
*grey cows* is a link pointing to <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grey cows>
Well, that is a deceptive link :-)
