[Alpine-info] Maildrop setup in laymans terms?

I am throwing in the towel.. I can't figure out what this app is wanting. 

I:

went to inbox path

hit a

name of inbox server: imap.fastmail.com/ssl/user=chris at cwm030.com

hit enter

Maildrop folder on "imap.fastmai..." to copy mail from [INBOX] : INBOX ??????

HIT ENTER

Name of server to contain destination folder : 

HIT ENTER

Folder to copy mail to: /home/chris/maildrop/

HIT ENTER

HIT E, AND Y, Q, Y,

Relaunched Alpine

[Can't open /home/chris/maildrop: not a selectable folder]

WHAT THE H*LL?

 OMG this app is frustrating me to no end!  >_<

  It doesn't even tell you what you did wrong? I created the folder first then opened the folder and copied the location to the folder /home/chris/maildrop/ and pasted it into Alpine.
