Rob Miser lost his leg two years ago. Miser and others in his 
position say resources and community are some of the first things 
they look for.  

Miser explained the confusion some might face after an amputation.

"There´s lots of questions that you have that you don´t realize 
you´re going to have and people who don´t have an amputation just 
don´t know so it´s great for that. To be able to come and ask them 
questions and not feel self-conscious about it and to learn how to 
get along in the world. That´s what the best thing is."
