via Texas Football:

Houston Christian High School quarterback Calder Hodge is a double
amputee who doesn't let that stop him from achieving his goals.

Calder Hodge grew up just like any other kid. He loved playing
sports. He loved watching football on the weekends. He loved playing
catch in the living room with his brothers (despite his mother´s
disapproval). And he dreamed of being an NFL quarterback one day.

But there was one difference between Calder and the other kids: he's
a double amputee.

Hodge was born with a condition called Fibular Hemimelia, which meant
his fibula and tibia did not develop normally. When he was two years
old his family decided it would be best for his future if they
amputated both of his legs. Since then, Hodge has used prosthetic
legs, but not once has he ever used them as an excuse.
