via The Echo UK:

David Judd also had to be helped off the pain by an 'embarrassed'
pilot.

A dad with an amputated leg feels "pathetic" after staff at
Manchester Airport asked him to "put his leg on" and left him
stranded on an empty plane.

David Judd, 54, claims problems started to arise as soon as he
arrived at Terminal 2 ahead of his holiday on June 11. David, who
needs a wheelchair when he travels, said he has booked assistance at
Manchester Airport a number of times before without any issues, but
had an "unusually" long wait when he arrived before his flight to
Spain.

He told the MEN : "We normally go to Leeds Bradford Airport but we
wanted an earlier flight. I took my prosthetic leg off an hour before
the flight and put a compression sock on to stop the swelling. When
we got there, we had to wait, which is very unusual as normally
you´re assisted immediately.
