After an elective leg amputation Melissa DeChellis wanted to find an 
active social recovery group but couldn´t find one. DeChellis took the 
matter into her own hands and developed an adaptive and inclusive 
fitness program, now called Adaptively Abled, for those of all different 
abilities where they could be stronger together.
