When Naperville North Swimmer Reese Navarro tried out for the swim 
team, she didn't know she would be making school history.  

"I just love the feeling of being able to glide through the water," 
she said.  

The freshman is the first swimmer at the school to compete in the 
athletes with disabilities swimming events.  

Now she's headed to the state championship Saturday and taking part 
in several races, including the 200-meter freestyle and the 100-meter 
breaststroke.
