A Worksop dad is hoping to reinstall confidence in those with 
disabilities and their families as he takes them on sailing  
adventures on his yacht in Greece.

Royal Artillery veteran Tim Griffith was aged just 30 when he was 
told by doctors that he would be lucky to make himself a cup of tea 
after losing both his legs below the knee in a motorcycle accident in 
Germany.  

After 18 months in hospital, Tim, from Gateford, made it his mission 
to do everything possible and, just two years later, became the first 
British amputee to run a mile in the British Amputee Games.
