[AMP-L] Illinois Governor Signs Recreational Prosthesis Bill

llinois Governor JB Pritzker signed the state´s recreational 
prosthesis bill-SB-2195-into law, expanding access to O&P devices for 
physical activity, benefiting all ages.  

"With this legislation, we are ensuring that those who use prosthetic 
or orthotic devices can acquire the most appropriate models to 
enhance their overall health," said Sen. Ann Gillespie (D), one of 
the bill´s cosponsors. "Expanding what is covered by insurance will 
allow more individuals to get the devices they need to regain 
mobility and participate in the activities they enjoy."
