That would be my suggestion though this only seems to be a problems with
OS upgrades and major service packs. SP2 really is an OS upgrade
because of the extent of OS changes that it makes.

On a similar note we have also found that Supernova dies with SP2 as
well but it depends on the video card in the computer. It will not work
at all with SIS video cards, but seems to be find with recent generation
ATI cards. We were able to fix the problem by upgrading to a newer video
card, and then doing a reinstall of Supernova.

Greetings All,
Thank you all so much for the feedback regarding JAWS and Windows XP SP
2.

I personally have not upgraded my computer access lab to SP2. The
problems are occurring across campus where they have upgraded to SP2.
Because of the time involved, SP2 was installed on top of the current
build. In other words, the progression of installs is: Windows XP
[SP1], JAWS 5.00.884 (I think is the number), then SP2.

Generally speaking, would you say the best course of action is to
uninstall the AT, then install major patches or service packs?

Again, thank you all for the wonderful suggestions and tips.
