[Athen] Dragon user profile - help with mistake

On the subject of Dragon, which I use, do others experience lock-up when
trying to run Dragon with Internet Explorer, or sometimes when opening a
PDF file?

Is there a way to disable the transcribe function, which seems to slow
the program down? Do others experience occasional "recovering speech
files" delays as the program seems to reload from time to time?

I was in manage users, selected the profile, and hit the delete button.
