[Athen] CSUN Picketing

Yes -- the presenters were eMailed about this last week. The hotel employees unions are threatening to picket for unionization during the conference. But I guess that is not too bad since the faculty throughout the Cal State system are threatening the same - and they have a union.
 
What may be more confusing is that the conference is apparently experimenting with exhibit areas and setting up tents in parking lots to see how it goes. 
 
Needless to say it ought to be an interesting week.

It is obvious that this has not become common knowledge given that I just
found out a short time ago.  Both the Hilton and the Marriot hotels are
going to be picked by the group that is attempting to unioinize the Hilton
hotel.
