It you are worried about calling it BM call it back since that is what it
is. Dann when did you worry about being PC anyway?

"Back Matter" is it. It tends to be more of a production term, though:
you don't often (I don't think) see "Back Matter" in a table of
contents.

Since it's an in-house term, you could start calling it "end stuff" or
"final gunk" or....... ;)

On a Friday at the end of the semester, I'm not so sure it's a bad thing
to keep something around that makes people laugh!
