Larry is a friend of those of us who advocate for providing equal access 
for people with disabilities to the world of information technology.  We 
are thankful that he has written down many of his experiences in this new 
book.  Larry worked for many years at the National Science Foundation to 
establish its program for people with disabilities.  He has been 
instrumental in encouraging and facilitating many of the recent
