Robert,

Thanks so much for your input. I haven't tried burning another copy
yet, but have tried playing in multiple players. If trying another copy
does not yield results, I'll be happy to send the source files to you.
We save each step, so I have word and filtered web formats.

Sandra,

Can you send me the original source files you used to create the DAISY
book? If you can send me the DAISY books files as well, I can test
thema nd see if I can find out what's happening.

I have sevearl software and hardware players here that I can test on. I
also have Publisher that I can use to generate the DAISY book again.
Maybe between all that, we can figure out what's going on.

It may be the player going bad. Did you try the same CD in a different
player? It could also be the CD is defective. Did you try burning the
same book to a different CD and test it on the same player?

Let me know if you want me to try some of these things for you.

We are using Dolphin Publisher to produce our alt media but are having
some difficulties with players. Several folks assured me early on that
DAISY books we produced would play on any DAISY player, but my Telex
Scholars from RFB&D are skipping around in nonsensical order on a recent
book. Anyone have a clue as to what we can do? I have a lot of
Scholars and Vibes that we hope to make use of.
