In the ATHEN Annual Meeting in Boulder, Jon Gunderson talked about the
recent EDUCAUSE IT Accessibility Interest Group meeting, in which several
goals and activities were identified for the coming year. The meeting notes
are posted here:

For those of you who aren't already involved in this group, here's the group
website: http://www.educause.edu/ITAccessibilityConstituentGroup/13069

EDUCAUSE describes itself as "a nonprofit association whose mission is to
advance higher education by promoting the intelligent use of information
technology." Its membership "comprises more than 2,200 colleges,
universities, and educational organizations, including 250 corporations,
with more than 17,000 active members."

With numbers like these, EDUCAUSE would clearly seem to be a good channel
for addressing IT accessibility in higher education.

Thanks for getting involved!
