Subject: ATPC Retirement Announcement

Colleagues,

It's with bitter sweet emotion to announce Martin Crossley's retirement
from the ATPC, as of September 30, 2008.

The ATPC family is happy for Martin to be able to reach the milestone
most of us are still striving for, but we're also very sad to see him
leave. Martin is one of the Center's "Founding Fathers" and has
immeasurably contributed his skills and know-how to create today's
successful E-text operation. With his expertise, Martin has directly
benefitted thousands of students, from across the state, with print
related disabilities. He has truly helped to "level the playing field"
for our California Community College students.

To fill his shoes seems almost impossible, but we are committed to build
upon Martin's enormous contributions. To that end, the E-text position
is officially posted on our District's website for on-line applications.
PLEASE forward this announcement to your friends and colleagues to help
ensure the widest distribution.

The application period closes Friday, Sept 12th.

Thank you,

Mike
