[Athen] SoftChalk

Norm,

Some of the content that I came across in my last online course was created using SoftChalk. One thing I did notice is that the graphical icons used to indicate various sections of the material did not have alt text. I'm not sure if this was because the creator didn't include them, didn't know how to include them, or if SoftChalk doesn't allow for this.

Also, there where some flash types of content that weren't very accessible. I'm not positive, but I believe they were added using SoftChalk. Again, was it lack of know-how on behalf of the instructor or was it a limitation of the program? I'm not sure.

Other than that, I could access the text of the materials used.

HTH!

I was asked if SoftChalk output to put course content online is
accessible. Does anyone have experience using it?
