Subject: [WebAIM] WebAIM Happenings

Things have been a bit crazy here at WebAIM lately and I'd like to
take a moment to keep you apprised of what's new and upcoming. Of
course you can always keep up-to-date with these things by subscribing
to our newsletter or blog/RSS feed at webaim.org, or by following me
on Twitter at @jared_w_smith.

- Twitter Accessibility Roundup -
http://webaim.org/blog/twitter-accessibility-roundup/
The top 30 people in my accessibility network on Twitter.

- Accessibility Blog Roundup II -
http://webaim.org/blog/accessibility-blog-roundup/
An update to my list of accessibility blogs to keep an eye on.

- In the last month or so, we've released new, much improved versions
of the WAVE web accessibility evaluation tool and the WAVE Firefox
toolbar - http://wave.webaim.org/

- I spoke at the Missouri Power Up conference on three exciting topics
- ARIA (my slides provide a good intro to ARIA with loads of examples
and demos), Web 2.0 and accessibility, and "Web Accessibility Gone
Wild!". The slides are available at
http://webaim.org/presentations/2009/powerup/

- WebAIM is again offering our two-day intensive web accessibility
training on June 10-11 in Logan, Utah - http://webaim.org/training
Seats are still available for what may be the best hands-on
accessibility training available.

This fall marks WebAIM's 10th anniversary and throughout this year we
will be delivering more of these excellent, free resources while also
expanding our accessibility consulting and training services to
empower clients big and small to build and maintain highly accessible
web sites. Thank you all for helping us make the web a better place.
