There are discount prices for students, faculty and staff . I just
checked and Adobe 9 is U$148.95

For Staff/faculty you can request a letter from your HR office saying
you work at the institution; you can then send it to Studica and you'll
be approved for a year (I think)

It does not matter whether you buy it as a personal copy to work at home
(I bought on my own a FileMaker Pro so I could design the templates
after hours)

Hello all,

 

I'm needing to purchase Acrobat Pro for my laptop.  Since it isn't a
college machine, I can't install college licensed software on it, even
though I'm using it for college related presentations.

 

Anyway, my student worker found the program at Baseline Software for
$134.  The price at Best Buy and CompUSA is $450.

 

My question is, has anybody every used Baseline Software?  Are they
trust worthy?  My niece purchased some software online before, then was
not able to register it and use it because it was already registered in
somebody else's name.  She was never able to get her money back or get
the software.
