The purpose of this position is to provide consultative support and services
to the campus user community (students, faculty and staff) to ensure problem
resolution, system/data access, and optimal information technology access;
provide technical advice in the evaluation, purchase, upgrade, maintenance
and use of assistive technology software and/or hardware resources; manage
department databases and ensure that data sources are accurate and readily
accessible to the user community; provide training materials to users on
assistive/accessible technologies; and participate in the creation and/or
acquisition of instructional materials in alternative formats (Braille,
large print, audio).
