For those interested in checking out VP8 and the new WebM video wrapper,
you will need to download and install the latest developer builds of the
supporting browsers.

For Firefox, start here: http://nightly.mozilla.org/webm/ (there are some
other interesting changes to the menu bar in this build)

For Opera, start here:
http://dev.opera.com/articles/view/opera-supports-webm-video/

Interestingly enough, the latest Google Chrome beta does not support WebM,
but will likely roll out soon.

IE9 is a work in progress; the platform preview guide has no indication
about WebM at this time, but might change soon.

Safari? Time will tell.

(Also, Adobe has confirmed that they will be supporting the VP8 codec in
flash-based players:
http://blogs.adobe.com/flashplatform/2010/05/adobe_support_for_vp8.html)

Finally, a developer preview of WebM and VP8, including source code,
specs, and encoding tools is available today at www.webmproject.org/tools
& http://www.webmproject.org/code/
