Thanks Wink and not half as much as I am missing not being with you all! I am slaving away with a load of student recordings for an accessible resources project – hopefully catch up with some of you at CSUN when I shall be talking about it if we get the acceptance on the papers!

I have just sent my apologies for not attending the Athen meeting via Dan B. on Facebook. Many thanks and have fun - it looks like you only have dreary weather like us and no exciting snow falls this year!

Best wishes E.A.

We have a suite of tools available on an USB pendrive with an accessible
menu - all freely available.

version as it has the most and includes NVDA etc.

Best wishes E.A.

Wink,

Free Natural Reader is a text reader available in both Windows and Macintosh
versions. Paid versions are available with additional features, but the
free version works well as a simple text reader. A user can work with it in
two ways - (1) as a stand-alone text reader by opening files within Natural
Reader, or (2) as a tool bar to add reading functions to MS Word, MS Excel,
and web browsers.

Also, a free web version of Inspiration is available in beta at
www.mywebspiration.com

Also, check out WebbIE - this is free, text-only web browser. This offers a
simple view of a web page without graphics, and allows a user to skip over
links if desired.

Hi all Athen-ites

Am looking for contributions from you all to add to a presentation this week
on:

The BEST low cost/no cost technology solutions for new to the field AT folks
or one wo/man shows in disability services.

Your great off the cuff solutions will be added to the presentation workshop
on Friday and available after the conference.

Thanks for any and all ideas. You're the best!
