We use Camtasia and then add the videos to Synote to automatically add
transcriptions via IBM speech recognition and annotations (links to
Liberated Learning http://www.liberatedlearning.com/technology/index.shtml)
. This allows us to capture lectures in what we hope is as accessible as
we can achieve at the time of the presentation

Camtasia is easy to use and can have captions added

Best wishes E.A.

Subject: [Athen] anyone know about activate????

I had a student ask me what I know about Activate which is next to nothing.
She wondered which was best to create accessible multimedia content Camtasia
or Activate??

Anyone have any experience??

Norm
