[Athen] 3 Questions

Hi Dave,

1.) We have just purchased the ESP for Zoomtext Mag/Reader. We did so because we wanted to be able to stay current on the software and we are not sure what our tech funding will be like in the next couple of years. If you have the cash, get it.

2.) Sorry, don't have any info on Kurzweil and Mac.

3.) Not sure what you are asking on this question, do you mean how are we ensuring that we get the equipment back or are you talking about actually purchasing insurance on the equipment that is borrowed?

Hope that helps!

Subject: [Athen] 3 Questions

Good afternoon!

1. Does anyone have thoughts concerning the advisability of purchasing the "Enhanced Support Plan" one can get with Zoom Text Magnifier Reader?

2. Does anyone know whether rumors that Kurzweil 3000 will soon no longer support the Mac OS hold any validity?

3. What, if anything, are DS offices doing concerning insuring equipment purchased either for students to borrow or to keep in an AT lab?
Thank you!

Dave
