[Athen] SPSS and JAWS

Does anyone have any experience with SPSS 19 and JAWS? Despite having set the location of the Java Access Bride and replacing the Java accessibility.properties file, Jaws will not always read the menus and submenus particularly when files are brought in. Wondering if there is something I am overlooking. I appreciate any help on this.
