let me append to my previous remarks by saying that in no way do I disrespect "blind guys." I'm a quadriplegic, so sometimes I think I have the culture-of-disability cachet to be glibly humorous when referring to other peoples' disabilities.

in any case, our fine conference seems to possibly overrepresent the needs of blind persons' assistive technology needs.
