The newest iPad and iPhones have a dictate button (icon) you activate and it
accepts your dictation. Like Dragon, but built in.

I do not think this is on the iPod yet.

Subject: [Athen] iPad app search

Hello all,

I've had a request from a colleague that I'm not knowledgeable enough to
answer. She has a 5-year-old granddaughter with persepction delay. It
causes her difficulties in reading. She spells everything phonetically.

They are looking for an app for either the iPod or iPad that can assist.
The support she is asking for is the ability to speak a word and have the
app spell it for her. Does anybody have any ideas? I recommended looking
at Dragon, but I'm not sure if it will give them all they need for a
5-year-old.

Thanks.
