Unfortunately, this is true. As a blind user who needs to use dictation on the job, I am wondering why someone hasn't worked to make JAWS and Dragon work together smoothly without the additional cost.

I do know that System Access works well with Microsoft's speech to text feature in Windows 7. However, I have not tried it with Dragon.

You need J-Say. It replaced JAW Bone.

Years ago, there was this amazing software called Jawbone that allowed Dragon Naturally Speaking and Jaws to work together. I have a blind student with an injury to her hand, and she is having a difficult time typing with only one hand. We would like her to be able to use Dragon, but there is just no way for me to get them to interface together so she can even get through the training.

Any suggestions?
