[Athen] braille as a foreign language

Hi, all. Braille is a writing system, not a language unto itself. There are different Braille codes for different languages, just as different languages might be written in different scripts, but "Braille" is not a language any more than "the alphabet" is a language.

Hi all,

I’ve been asked if colleges accept braille as a foreign language requirement. I wouldn’t think so, but thought I’d run it by others before responding to the question. I don’t see braille as a different language such as ASL, but I could be wrong.

Thanks for any thoughts.
