[Athen] captioning of video streaming events

I agree that captioning of live streaming events should be provided. Many streaming platforms provide a way for a realtime captioner to plug in to the platform to provide captions for those who need them. This would provide more accuracy and efficiency than just having someone type a transcript on a standard keyboard. I suggest you make that a part of the purchasing decision.

Hi,

I will be involved in a meeting later today concerning captioning of video streaming events. The meeting organizer asks what needs to be done to ensure ADA compliance. I’m prepared to say that captioning of streaming events is required to ensure equally effective communication. Is there something more specific that I could or should also mention?
