[Athen] Clockwork is incompatible with Dragon NS, ver 12.5

I haven't tried Clockwork with a Mac- it's all set up on PCs in our office, but I can tell you that it freezes up if Dragon NS is up and running at the same time. It's very frustrating having to remember to save and close it, prior to opening Dragon to demo to a student!

I would be interested to find out what issues on these topics are unique to Missouri.  Historically having redundant lists on the same have been counterproductive to making collective progress on the Access that we all are facing.

Our office is looking into purchasing Clockwork as our new database system. I have heard a few times that their software platform doesn't work well with a Mac on the office admin side, but is completely compatible with Macs on the student interface. Have any of you experienced issues working with Mac computers and the Clockwork software?

Hello all!

Interested in learning what other institutions are doing with the access issues with the MyLab products. Specifically, our institution has transitioned to a math course only offered with the enhancement of MyMathLab. Students are required to do classwork, homework, practice tests, quizzes, and exams through the program, which is presenting some accessibility concerns. We would like to push for the math department to have an on-ground course which is fully accessible.

Our requirement for a statement is part of our syllabi policy<http://policies.temple.edu/PDF/313.pdf>.  We don't require specific language, but we offer the following in the policy:

A disability disclosure statement that invites students to disclose their needs, such as: Any student who has a need for accommodation based on the impact of a documented disability, including special accommodations for access to technology resources and electronic instructional materials required for the course, should contact me privately to discuss the specific situation by the end of the second week of classes or as soon as practical. If you have not done so already, please contact Disability Resources and Services (DRS) at 215-204-1280 in 100 Ritter Annex to learn more about the resources available to you. I/we will work with DRS to coordinate reasonable accommodations for all students with documented disabilities.
