[Athen] accessing PDF image files

Hi,

Unsure if others already do this for their students - occasionally I'll need access to a PDF that ends up being a scanned image, useless to my screen reader. In those cases, I'll do a virtual scan using Kurzweil 1000 and am usually lucky enough to get a fairly readable file.
