[Athen] Accessible Text Editor w/Line Numbers

For all you CS folks out there:

I have a student with a visual impairment who is preparing to take an
introductory Python class. Python IDLE--the software used for coding in
this class--poses some accessibility issues.

Does anyone know of a fully accessible text editor where line numbers are
also accessible? (Notepad is accessible, but there are no line numbers.)
