I use Notepad2 http://www.flos-freeware.ch/notepad2.html and it works well with NVDA  and Abi uses Notepad ++ https://notepad-plus-plus.org/

For all you CS folks out there:

 

I have a student with a visual impairment who is preparing to take an introductory Python class. Python IDLE--the software used for coding in this class--poses some accessibility issues.

 

Does anyone know of a fully accessible text editor where line numbers are also accessible? (Notepad is accessible, but there are no line numbers.)
