[Athen] Accessible Adobe Acrobat Portfolios

Good morning!

Is there a way to create accessible portfolios with Adobe Acrobat? (We're using Acrobat XI at present.)

I can get around the portfolio with the keyboard pretty well, and I seem to be able to get into the individual files with JAWS, too. The individual PDFs are accessible, so once opened, that's not a problem. Does anyone know of best practices for portfolio creation to enhance accessibility? I haven't been able to locate any specifics on Adobe's site.

I did find this resource for Adobe Reader users: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/setting-accessibility-preferences-pdf-portfolios.html
This suggests that the end user should choose the option to show portfolios in files mode.

Any insight is helpful! Thanks so much!
