[Athen] Prof Cert in Web Accessibility

[Schafer, Carmen]

Does anyone know the merit of the Professional Certificate in Web Accessibility (http://www.mediaaccess.org.au/learn)? Is the program relevant to US policy and considered a trusted program here in the states?  I did notice that the program is a W3C member, but does anyone know how this program is perceived stateside?
