[Athen] TIE machine repairs

I agree with you on the paper. I’ve been purchasing from American Thurmoform for some time now. It has always done very well for us.

I’m really interested in the machine from AT since I haven’t seen any output from it. I’ve seen from the PIAF and TIE so I would like to compare.

Both the PIAF machine and ZyChem machine work very well. I personally think they are both better than the TIE, so I think you have a great reason to get a new machine! <grin>

Also, just as an FYI, I recommend purchasing the capsule paper through American Thermoform. Human Ware's paper right now is flimsy and substandard.

Best wishes!

Hello all,

Our TIE machine seems to be fizzling out. Repro-Tronics seems to be out of business. Does anybody know of a company that repairs these machines? Is it even worth repairing as old as it is?

The two options I’ve found are from HumanWare and American Thurmoform. Does anybody have experience with the one from American Thurmoform?

Thanks.
