You may want to check with the Assistive Technology Centers in your area. They may know of specialized programs that can assist with funding. The one I worked for here in Tennessee had funding through the Technology Act funds for identifying as well as assisting with funding. Also, if the student qualifies as a Vocational Rehabilitation client, there may be funds through VR as well.
