Disability Communications Fund (DCF) accepting Letters of Intent (LOI) for its 2017 Grant Program.



DCF’s supports programs and technology that benefit communications needs of Californians with disabilities.
 
DCF has identified three (3) Funding Priorities for 2017. For a project to be considered it must address one of the following areas:  






	


Training the Next Generation of AT and AAC Experts 



	


Facilitating Research and Innovation 



	


Replicating Successful Models 







Grant amounts are anticipated to range from $10,000 to $100,000, with approximately $1 million available for competitive grants awarded for the 2017 grant cycle.

DCF uses a two-stage application process, beginning with a Letter of Intent (LOI). LOIs are due Monday, August 8, 2016. A limited number of applicants will then be invited to submit a Full Application. The entire LOI/Application and review process takes approximately five (5) months. Funded projects are expected to start January 1, 2017.

Before you begin drafting your LOI, please carefully review our funding guidelines and funding priorities to determine whether your organization and project may be eligible for DCF funding.
