I understand that posting a YouTube link on FB doesn’t promote as well (and you have posting limits) as a video posted in the actual FB environment – It’s a battle between FB and YouTube for the content, I think.
I’m not sure about accessibility of the player yet but you can definitely add an SRT file to the video - https://www.facebook.com/help/261764017354370

Also, last I checked (a few months back), Facebook had added the ability to upload .SRT files along with videos in order to allow videos uploaded directly within the site to have captions. Not sure of the accessibility of the player, though.

You can upload the videos to YouTube, caption them there and then embed them in a Facebook post. Remember you also need audio descriptions!
