Yes, when you sync pen with Echo Desktop, the written notes/audio recordings upload. You can record audio only (with the pen by holding down the power button) or the student can take notes while the audio is recording. Either way, you can export audio (via Audio Only option) in Echo Desktop. Go to audio file part of Echo Desktop, right click and export. The following link is the User Guide. I have a student ask me a question I was unable to answer. He has to interview someone for a class and post the audio file on Blackboard for an assignment. Can a Live Scribe audio file be extracted from the pen and attached? He has some audio files in a folder on his laptop desktop and we are going to attempt this this afternoon. Any suggestions or thoughts?
