Dear friends,

 

A test of the Emergency Alert System is going to occur at 2:20 pm EST on September 28th. The test will broadcast messages in English and Spanish and it is going to include audio and text of the alert messages for people with hearing and/or visual limitations. The FCC has asked us to spread the word about this test, so people in our community pay attention to it and send their comments in case they encounter accessibility problems. Please, helps us to disseminate these information. We will use our Facebook and Twitter pages to remind people prior to the test. El próximo 28 de septiembre a las 2:20 pm  se hará una prueba del Sistema Nacional de Alertas. La prueba transmitirá mensajes en inglés y español e incluirá el texto y el audio de los mismos para que sea accesible para personas con limitaciones auditivas y visuales. La FCC nos ha pedido que ayudemos a difundir información sobre esta prueba en nuestra comunidad para que sus miembros estén atentos y envíen sus comentarios en caso de que encuentren problemas de accesibilidad.
