I’ll have to look at it more, but I didn’t like the design of the first book I tried. I didn’t get to try building a book yet, but I’ll send this on to the one who needs to create a book.

You might want to take a look at CAST UDL Book Builder<http://bookbuilder.cast.org/>. It should be accessible.

I did find some videos on using PowerPoint to create a digital story book, but it didn’t seem completely accessible to a screen reader user. If one of the objects of the project is to create an interactive story book, then PowerPoint probably isn’t the way to go.

This is a timely question and Robert asked first…I have someone who needs to create an accessible children’s book and would appreciate any suggestions for software…or the best way to create an inclusive children’s book.

Cheers, Karen

Hello all,

I have somebody needing to create a digital story book for a class project. Can anybody recommend a package that is accessible with either Voice Over and a Mac or NVDA on a PC?

Thanks.
