I, too, have found problems with many Lynda.com sessions.

When it’s basic software training in ordinary programs, they’re ok.

But accessibility is a high-level craft, an intermediate or advanced topic in the subject. You need training by a qualified expert in accessibility, not someone who “read the book” last night.

Some better options:

* Karen McCall is a list member and one of the industry’s experts. Her online courses and books are available at https://www.karlencommunications.com/Training.html and https://www.karlencommunications.com/products.htm
* WebAIM is the leading email discussion list and portal for accessibility experts. They’re online training course is very good. https://webaim.org/training/docs/
* My firm, PubCom (in Takoma Park, MD) offers live courses (classroom and live online), custom on-site classes, and DIY books. www.PubCom.com/classes <http://www.PubCom.com/classes> and www.PubCom.com/books <http://www.PubCom.com/books>

Hope this helps,

Good afternoon,

I have a new group of GAs coming in and will need to train them to remediate PDFs and other documents. Since my AT specialist has left this falls on me. Does anyone have a training materials you are willing to share?
