[Athen] Listserv/group recommendations

Have yo looked at FreeLists? I used to belong to a group on that system and from what I remember, it was pretty accessible. Now that I’m thinking about it, I also used to run a list from there and had no problems.

Does anyone have recommendations for an accessible and user-friendly listserv or group that is similar to Yahoo Groups (ability to post discussions, announcements, files, etc.)?
