CUNY seeks an experienced professional to oversee the University’s efforts to make its information technology accessible to individuals with disabilities, as required by law. The IT Accessibility Program Officer will identify and suggest potential solutions to deliver accessible technology throughout the University’s technology portfolio (websites, online courses, online learning platforms and video captioning, etc.) based on the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 AA standards. The IT Accessibility Program Officer will plan and develop these initiatives at the University’s Central Office, and provide expert guidance and support to implement these solutions across CUNY’s colleges, departments, institutions and programs
