> Greetings,

> I have a student who is non-sighted and has been since birth. He reads

> braille and is very technologically savvy. He has obtained a few

> certifications from Cisco in IT support outside of our institution and is

> now enrolled here in our Web/Database Technology (AS) program.

> The first two terms of this program require that he takes Introduction to

> Networks and Routing and Switching Essentials courses which are part of the

> Cisco Certified Entry-level Network Technician Certification (CCENT) facilitated by

> an instructor here qualified to do that, but the program is entirely run

> through Cisco's NetAcademy.

> It seems that Cisco is trying hard to be as accessible as they can, but it

> has been this student's previous experience that Cisco's NetAcademy

> continues to be significantly problematic for a completely non-sighted

> student.

> I am reaching out to see if someone (or some institution) may have

> come across this before. I am thinking that somewhere a precedence for

> making these Cisco courses accessible to non-sighted students can be found.
