[Athen] MathType Question

Hello,

I have always been impressed with the universal design characteristics of MathType especially when used with speech by having the math read by NVDA.

I would like some advice on optimizing it for use with the mouse for students with LD. After hours of searching I found the MathPlayer applet in the windows control panel with various settings for Learning Disabilities, Low Vision, and Blind. I played around with those settings but am still finding the navigation hard to control. Also I recall there were settings in MathType for optimizing the verbosity when creating the math for blind or LD.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Best,
